A Double Wedding Weekend {For the Books}!

Pin It
Happy Sunday evening everyone! I wanted to first apologize for not being around much this week but it was all a lead-in to my brother's and our good friend Dave's wedding weekend extravaganza.

For those of you that haven't been following this whole year, this weekend topped off our 10th and 11th weddings for 2011. That's right, Paul and I had 11 weddings this year, to which I was in the wedding party for 3 and Paul was in 2. It has been a year of wedding celebrations and what better way to end the wedding season than with my brother wedding and an Army buddies weddings.

Some say we have too many friends and need to weed out a few but we knew that each and every wedding we went to this year was wonderful.

My brother's wedding was beautiful. Spending the weekend with my FSiL and my whole family was nothing short of perfect. To see my younger brother get married was a moment I will never forget. The sun was in my eyes and standing up there with him all I could see is a tear run down his cheek. It was a beautiful moment. Then to top the night, the mother-son dance. You couldn't imagine how proud and how uncontrollably happy my mother was.

{I am pretty sure those 2 1/2 minutes took up half my film roll}

Tears were shed and the night was amazing, I couldn't be prouder of him and I am so thankful to have been a part of your day.

Dave's wedding, to which Paul was the best man, was also breathtaking. The sunset over the water looking out to NYC with great friends, good music and a cupcake truck was just fabulous. Not to mention a wonderful speech from the best man himself touching on the stories of his life with his Army buddy from the beginning.

{Plus, how can you not love a groom and all his groomsmen all in Class A's... Love it}

The day was truly blissful and we danced the night away.

Congratulations!!! We love you
