I have been blending up some of the most interesting smoothies, some with fruit, others with veggies and some that even look a little too green to drink but they all have one thing in common... They are delicious.
So what did I blend up today... a little dessert.
Dessert for breakfast, I am always in, especially when it's...
As sweet as blueberry pie!
So there's no arguing that this smoothie is a tummy pleaser.
I have always been a blueberry crazed kinda girl, especially when it comes to smoothies but this blueberry pie tops the charts because you can actually taste that sweet warm spoonful as you sip.
Spring is around the corner but I am already there. Break out the picnic-wear cause this smoothie's going to send you right to the 4th of July!

Servings: 2
Ingredients
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1/2 cup blueberries, frozen
1 cup 2% greek yogurt
2 tbsp honey
1 scoop protein
Ice
Blend until smooth, and serve.

Enjoy!

I love smoothies. I have one every day for breakfast and I always try to add in spinach for a sure thing veggie serving. It is always a nice treat though when you have just fruit. It is very much a dessert for breakfast.
I would love to have this for Breakfast.
First of all - YUM.
Second - I have never used pomegranate in a smoothie, genius!
I may just be a fat kid who loves pie, but can we just put the whole blueberry pie in the blender next time? :)
Oh man this sounds amazing!! I could totally use one of these for breakfast! I eat blueberries every morning but I need to mix it up a little. Seriously, making me drool over here!
Ummm Yummmm! Will definitely have to pick up some pomegranate juice and make this!
